Welcome James! There's a lot of buzz in the bible study forum usually, so you could check there if you wanted to just generally learn some stuff.

Welcome to Christian Chat, James. One thing that will teach you a lot is the Bible. You might start reading the book of Matthew, which is the first book of the New Testament. It is about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, Son of God (God in flesh).
