I know not everyone will like everyone else. That's just a consequence of living in a fallen world. However, we are called to spur one another on toward Love and Good deeds, and Encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24-25). So, I hope when we interact with our brothers and sisters in Christ (and those yet to come to saving faith) that we would consider the words of scripture. I want to remind folks that Jesus gave us a clear warning in Matthew 12:36, that "on the day of judgement people will give an account for every careless word they speak" (ESV). With this in mind I want to encourage "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry" (James 1:19 NIV). And as my name should remind us "faith, hope, and love remain... But the greatest of these is LOVE!" (I Corinthians 13:13)
You can't be liked by everyone, it will never happen but I want to inspire love and openness among the brethren. Put character and integrity first, that we may be a reflection of Jesus!
"Be an example... Show kindness to unkind people. Forgive people who don't deserve it. Love unconditionally. Your actions always reflect who you are. "
