36 year old sweet single Christian guy

Hey I'm Kevin and I am a 36 year old divorced single father looking for my sweet good Christian lady. I was born in Georgia and raised in North Carolina. I played a lot of sports in high school and joined the Marines after I graduated. I met my wife in 2001 and she and I had two daughters who are now 14 and 12. I have attended college and try and stay fit. I am six foot and weigh 205. I have an athletic build and my friends and family would say I'm sweet, very romantic, passionate, smart, fun and funny with a witty personality who loves God and likes very much talking about all things Christian all the time. I am very much into watching and playing sports, bowling, hiking, biking, skydiving, traveling, running, swimming, watching movies and doing anything fun and exciting and new. VVhat a catch! lol This site isn't specifically meant for dating, and putting yourself out there. It can happen in your interactions with people and a bond happens but its not an official dating site. So the whole dating bio thing is going to get you some... interesting responses that will inform you to clearly go elsewhere if you are here to just find a "sweet good Christian lady."

Sorry I didn't understand this site very much. I Googled a good Christian site for talking about God and dating and this site popped up. I am here to do both actually. To find good Christian friends and God willing a good God fearing lady. I don't know how to navigate this site or add info to my bio or add pictures yet. I can't figure it out. I don't understand if this is a Christian site why everyone so far is being either rude, mean or paranoid?! I mean its not like I'm asking for personal information or anything bad! I mean one lady said she wouldn't except my friends request for whatever reason. I'm just trying to be friendly but so far peoole are saying what I am doing wrong or making me feel bad for doing nothing! As I said, this isn't a dating site. If you found me rude, mean or paranoid I'm sorry. It is humorous to read your bio selling yourself, to be honest. Even more so considering the site you've done it on. This is more of a fellowship site than anything else, and in some ways, Christian debate. lol You should stick around Kevin, you might make some good friends.

Chill out. It's calling teasing, we do alot of it here. Ben and I are buddies. This IS a christian site, but many trolls and perverts reside here and the women are usually the targets. So naturally we play it safe. I NEVER accept a friend request from people who come on here and friend me without even knowing who I am. I don't even do that with WOMEN. lol .. There is a Christian Single forum on this site mostly for chatting than dating....but the singles hang out there and chat different topics you might want to try that forum. Welcome to CC.... I met my husband on this site but was not looking for one so it can happen, by accident of course....

Glad to have you on-board Kevin. There a lot of single Christian women on this site that are age appropriate. There are also the naysayers that say that this is not a dating site. Perhaps it is not advertised as such but there have been quite a few couples who have found each other here and a couple of them eventually married.

There use to be a moderator in the Singles Christian Forum who met her future husband on this site and they married. She was a strong believer in the 'this is not a dating site' crowd but now she knows different. Please don't let others discourage you.

I would say that first you should take the time to tell your story through your posts and to integrate into the community.

When I first joined a couple years ago I did as you were brave enough to do and put myself out there. I was criticized too but did not let that deter my search. I met a wonderful Christian woman who is also a member and we are happily married today. Of course God was the one who searched and found a woman of my heart's desire.

It would be wise to pray about this to see if it is God's will and desire for your life. Many such journey's are possible.
