Welcome, Robin! I hope you enjoy your time here at CC.
Have you ever read the book "Faith of Our Fathers: God in Ancient China" by Chan Kei Thong with Charlene L. Fu? It's available in both English and simplified Chinese and is a powerful witness to God in the history of your people. I found it thoroughly fascinating. I imagine it's even more useful for Chinese people.

Thanks for your recommend, I have read it's overview. The writer want made connection between ancient story of China and Old Testament. But I do not think Jehovah is same as gods of ancient China. Gods of ancient Chinese are looked like gods in Greek mythology. They are jealous of other's power, treasure and wife. I am totally speechless because gods of Buddhism and gods of Taoism live together and they are friends.

Ancient Chinese want to find God, but God just show concern for Israel. Other people could not be close to God because of sin. After the resurgence of Jesus, sinners can come to the Father only through him.

Hi Robin. Thanks for having a bit of a read. The overview offers a limited understanding of the author's premise. The premise is that in very early Chinese history, many followed the one true God and worshipped Him as ShangDi (one supreme God of heaven and earth, one who created everything). Much later on, these beliefs and practices were corrupted and the creation rather than the Creator was worshipped. Further corruption lead to Daoism, Buddhism etc. Now, there is very little evidence for worship of the one true God. But there is some. Think along the lines of the Unknown God that Paul speaks of in The Book of Acts. God bless you, brother.
