I remember using forums a decent amount when I was a kid. Mostly they were about games or art/animation -- first one was probably neopets. Recently I thought to myself, what forum would I perhaps identify with now that I'm old? Well, here I am.

Would love to know more about the background/origin of this site. Looking back, the oldest posts seem to be around 2009? I couldn't find any "about" page anywhere. Post some links if you have any!

Also, kudos to whoever developed this site! It has a ton of gizmos.

Welcome to Christian Chat, Gofree. I think the site was active well before 2009, but 2009 is when I arrived, so I really don't know.

There was a chat back in 2001, not sure when it first started. I don't remember when the forums came.
At one point the servers crashed and a lot of posts were lost.
