i follow up that statement with this; how many have even heard the true gospel of our salvation, even once? all we hear on the pulpit is law and condemnation, whereas gospel is supose to be the annunciation of the glad tidings of the perfect work of our savior on the cross on behalf of all men!

Well said.. The sad fact is that most simply do not believe in the Atonement of Jesus... They trust in themselves and their ability to be good enough... They will be tragically surprised when they find out on the day of Judgement that they where not good enough.. When they discover that all the acts of righteousness are as filthy rags to God..

That's right bro. Either Christ is the exclusive savoir or he is not; either he saved mankind all by himself or man is not saved at all!
