Need help getting into the chat rooms...

I'm trying to participate in the chat rooms. My microphone is working fine on my laptop, but I don't have a Microphone icon when I join a chat room. When I click on one of the chat rooms, a blank page is opened, nothing on it at all.....HELP!!!!!

Sounds like you are missing a plugin of some kind

This belongs in the user2-user tech forum, but anyhoo, try turning off your microphone. The chat rooms go wonky every now and then so you may have to try again later.
