Hi, I am new to this and have never been on a chat room. I thought I would give this a try to help with my tidal waves of grief that come and go. I've been searching for a grief group near me and have not found one yet. I have had several losses of family members recently- my son, my mom, my dad, and my brother. Just looking to talk with other people that understand the pain and lonliness.

Oh my goodness............this is a lot!!

Father, I pray for this dear person, thanking you for the faith that they have in you, please draw near to them and comfort them, as only you can, touch the pain and loss and turn it into something good, heal their brokeness, and help them to be able to help others in their situation, comfort them and help them to keep on keeping on, in Jesus name, Amen.

There are plenty of members on this site with an understanding of pain and loneliness so please know that you are not alone. Perhaps this site can be a source of solace for you. Glad to hve you as a member of our family. Welcome to CC.

First off I am terribly sorry for your losses, my deepest condolences. I pray peace and comfort during your grief. Welcome to cc and I hope you find it helpful and comforting to be here and that you get to meet fellow members that will be able to relate to your pain and console you. God bless you

I have never tried them but here is a hotline if you need to talk to someone on the phone

Welcome to Christian Chat, Lostt. Two things have helped me elude loneliness. (I live alone and my closest family is a two-day drive.) Those two things are God and my church.
