I have a confession to make, I hate introducing myself to new people. I never know what to say and I usually feel awkward or uncomfortable doing it. That being said how am I suppose to make some new friends if I never get out of my comfort zone?

So, now that that confession is out of the way, I will attempt to introduce myself without being awkward about it. I'm from Kentucky, if you have never been to my state I highly recommend it but make sure you come with an open mind. I love to travel, read, watch period piece shows (ex. Pride and Prejudice), and try new restaurants. I almost always have a camera with me which is often to my advantage. I watch sports from time to time. Honestly I will probably never be able to quote the roster of a team or a player's stats but I do enjoy watching a game, especially the UK wildcats or the Cincinnati Reds. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. :)

Welcome to CC!! I love reading! What do you read? Where do you travel?

(And don't worry, I'm usually super awkward around new people too)

Thank you so much. :)

I read both fiction and non-fiction. I like to read books by Ravi Zacharias, Jane Austen, David Sills, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the list could go on and on. I recently finished 1984, Brave New World, and then read a few books by Julie Klassen.
What sort of books do you enjoy reading?

I've traveled through portions of the U.S. and then I've been in Ireland and England.

I have lived in Kentucky for 3 years while in the army and have traveled all through that state. My wife practically grew up there and her first set of in-laws still live near Louisville. It is vey much a scenic state. You wrote a very good introduction. Glad to have you as a member of our family. Welcome to CC.

Oh cool! :)
I like James Patterson, Lee Strobel, have you heard of the Golden Compass? That's my favorite series :)

That's awesome! I've always wanted to travel to England, Australia, and Japan.

No, I'm not familiar with the Golden Compass book but I remember that the movie came out amidst some turmoil. Some of my friends at the time refused to see it, something about killing God or some such.

I hope that you get to travel to all of those wonderful places. I've not been to Australia but I do have friends there and I've heard Japan is lovely.

I didn't know there was a movie. I always like books better anyway haha...

Yeah, I used to know a person who lived in Australia. And I know someone who goes to Japan (mostly to see her friend) she says it's a very nice place to visit

I do, I hate it but once it's over it isn't so bad. It may be every introverts worst nightmare.
