The tree of life was barred, and now a cherubim stands at the barrier of the garden of Eden.
No one can access the tree to life until they pass the cherubim guarding the way back into Eden.
Now Jesus said he is the way back to life, does that mean he's the cherubim guarding the way? Or is he the tree of life?
You tell me.
Hey Debbie, welcome to this website, look around
Now, to address this, because people are not trees or cheribums.
The answer is neither, if he was the cherub, his purpose reversed when he became jesus, if he was the tree, he wouldn't hav been good at walking around could he?
In the start of creation when men could have eaten either the tree on knowledge of good and evil or the tree of life, man with tempting from an other, chose to eat the tree of know;edge of good and evil, now he would be aware of both the good and evil around him and which he would do, being able to see himself as a source of evil, made him guilty of the evil he would then go on to do, spending his days aware of his guilt and what he did, he was now drastically less happy and his days could be filled with misery over what he was doing, feelings which should not last forever, so he was moved east and man "must not eat of the fruit of the tree of life, and live forever," in the current circumstance.
In the future, it is believed somebody arrived and provided a way for sins to be forgiven, no matter what happened. This, would be able to end men's guilt and misery, because as long as you adopted this new way, you were immediately forgiven of your sins, and then would no longer have to feel guilty, or even aware, of when you committed evil, and no longer have to pursue good to counter it, as long as things are satisfied, you no longer have to heed the knowledge of good and evil in you, so the damage from having learned it is undone, if you fully grasp onto this, this would mean without the pain and misery of being aware of one's own guilt, you can even be unaware of what it is you do which is wrong or good, like you were originally created thinking, if this causes the intended goal, people under it abandon the knowledge of the tree of knowledge of and go back to their original state, not caring about the good and harm they cause, without the torment of how they have been, the observable reason for not being able to eat the tree of life and live forever, also gone.
An Answer: Neither Jesus or the cherib are the tree of life, the belief things from one part of scripture to the other are secretly the same things is false, and born of deception, trees do not become people, cherubs do not lose wings and become human, there is jesus, a cherub, and a tree, 3 of which remain, jesus is neither of the other things and so I say neither.
Would it be something else if you skipped down to answer to avoid reading?
