Demi777, Ohh nothing to be scared of, we simply use the bible as our only guide. We try to follow the guidelines and examples of the church that you read of in the new testament.

well the thing was at that time that I just came to the US from germany about a week and only had a old german bible. They did bible study and wanted me to read a verse and I wasnt all too fluid yet and told them that its in german and I am not good enough yet to translate.
The two people (it was a woman and a man) decided to say ''the holy Spirit will give you the interpretation. You must not have the holy Spirit! Are you of the devil?"
I was frightened and my friend who (thanks to God) was there and made clear that I wasnt that good yet and that I was indeed a christian on a private christian school.
I never went back to that church.

Well, I can assure you that if you walked through the door of where our congregation worships, you would be warmly welcomed, and would in no way ever hear such a thing. It would surprise me to the extreme to even hear about something like that. Even if you were not a Christian yet you would still be warmly welcomed, taught with smiles and encouraged in every way, plus of course welcomed back at every opportunity that you might have. We are interested in saving souls, not calling people "of the devil" and pushing them away.
