Look around and don't be afraid to try posting in different forums. You posted here so it looks like you've got the basic idea right. There's a FAQ above.
You'll see the big Christian Chat at the top of the page and then underneath it shows chat room and forums, christian blogs and latest activity. And then underneath that you'll find, new posts, private messages, FAQ, Community, forum action and quick links. Click on the FAQ and that should help you out a bit.
