Hello my name is David as you can see, I'm 19, and I just wanted to see and hear what others' views on Christ are in this downcast world today and hope to be an encouragement to those in need. God bless.

And I welcome the one who welcomes the welcomers. (lol)

Welcome to CC. However, I should warn you about the Bible Discussion Forum, stuff is a little wild there.

Welcome to Christian Chat, David.

I view Jesus Christ as God in flesh:

"Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and his name shall be called Emmanuel"
(which means, God with us). Matt 1:23 RSV

There are two great commandments to obey:

[34] But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sad'ducees, they came together.
[35] And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him.
[36] "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
[37] And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[38] This is the great and first commandment.
[39] And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
[40] On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." Matt 22:34-40 RSV
