Hello Everyone,

I am new here. I look forward to hearing the Christian take on things in reference to world news, science and technology, etc, whatever in addition to getting more insight on the infallible word of God. I work a lot and (clearing my throat) I'm also really shy so and I don't get a lot of time or the courage to interact with people other than my co-workers. I'd like to expand my social network and by doing so I hope to be able to express my Christian faith as well as collaborate with like-minded individuals in regards to Jesus Christ online and in person without fear.

I am a regular church goer, who actively studies my bible, and pray. However, I still struggle with many things. I hope that I can eventually open up and share my struggles with you all, and you all can share your struggles with me, and we can strengthen each other through prayer. I will not drag on, I just wanted to give a brief introduction...I look forward to meeting new people :)

Welcome to Christian Chat, Qtpy84. You say you are shy and that you are a church-goer. Maybe you can find something in your church to volunteer for, and get to know some more people. I sing in my church choir and feel very welcome and at ease with them.

Iwill eventually volunteer and I'm trying to get to know more people. The first step is praying, the second is showing up to church and it's related events, which I do when I have the courage. But my shyness causes uncomfortable tension and anxiety, where either I'm talking too much, or not talking at all. I've half searched the forums to see if there is one that I can participate in that may touch on this issue, haven't found one yet. Do you know of a forum here that I could benefit from?
