Anyone any good christian. Please.... I need to get to Batavia.
My name is Dawson, I was brought to Gest St, Cincinnati, OH 45203 for a spot in the homeless shelter, but they were full. and then my promised ride didnt come to pick me up... now I am stranded here and I need to get back to Batavia or I will lose my job. I am a homeless man with no money, but IF I can keep this job I get paid on Friday. I am stranded.

God has it in His control, bro :). Even if this doesn't work out the way you planned, if you're following Jesus as your Savior He'll keep you exactly in the way HE wants you to be in. God bless!

I smell something fishy.

First of all, it's against the rules here to ask for money. Secondly, you don't call friends or family to help you out, but instead despite being homeless and having no money, you use your computer and join a Christian site, instead of trying to hitchhike your way to where you need to be or collect recyclables to make some money?

IF you are truly homeless, how is it that you have a job? Most jobs require references, credit and background checks, and a valid address. A homeless shelter or city street somewhere is NOT a valid address. Not to mention, most employers don't hire homeless people.

And also, with no money, how can you afford a computer that costs several hundred dollars? And how do you keep it charged up with nowhere to plug it in? That computer would've gotten stolen from you in a heartbeat if you were really out on the streets. :/ Somebody would have either beat you or killed you for that computer.

I'm sorry but certain things in your post don't make sense, so I'm not buying your story. But I will pray that IF what you say is true, that God will provide a way for you to get back to where you need to be. :)

I am not asking for money. I am asking for help getting back. I dont have any friends or family. Thats partly why I am homeless to begin with.

Well then, if it's that urgent, ask God to protect you while you do some hitchhiking.. Nobody here can come get you..

Thank you all very much! I walked about half the way and a guy offered to take me the rest of the way. We talked about the Bible on our way here.

1. Batavia is a suburb of Cincinnati. He's not asking for money nor a ride across the country. He's asking for roughly 10-20 miles worth of ride.

2. His batteries are dying. "My batteries are dying" is something someone with a cellphone worries about, not someone with a computer. Just about everyone has a cellphone nowadays. They actually have adapters in waiting rooms at the VA so people can charge their phones while waiting for something. It's possible to still have a cellphone minus a home.

3. He's homeless and has a job. How do you think someone stops being homeless unless "has a job" gets in the picture?

4. Payday is coming. It's not here yet, it's coming. I remember the time when we had our last dime, (literally. It was one dime in my pocket) when we moved in for our next job. (Group home parents, so we may not have had but a dime at that moment, but we just got shelter and food.) We were going to be paid once a month, so there was a serious problem only owning one dime for one month! (Part of the deal was we had to buy a van, and we paid the gas. SERIOUS problem, and yet we still had a job.)

5. Christian site. Where would you go if you were stranded with no family around and in deep need? A Spine-health site?

You may well smell something fishy, but it has nothing to do with anything he said.

BTW, when was the last time you saw someone hitchhiking? Frankly, no one does that much anymore because it's dangerous from both sides. Dangerous to pick up a hitchhiker and dangerous to hitchhike.

Yippee! I came in this late, but I was sure you'd get there somehow.

It almost never happens here in Florida anymore. I used to pick them up, but hardly ever, these days.

ask God to protect you while you do some hitchhiking
Sure that isn't word / faith doctrine???

I mean, do people really believe God "protects" people?

I hear some believe God is the One putting problems on them... you know, to teach them something or to test them
