I'm sitting in my study in west Hampshire wondering if we are going to have a straight week of barbecue weather.

I'm a little unconventional in my beliefs, preferring scripture over tradition.

I'm a software engineer by profession, a published writer, inventor, Cambridge graduate, reasonable cook, qualified pilot and telling the truth.

Looking forward to some interesting times on here.

Good afternoon,

and no it's going to rain - how do I know? Well it always rains
when I plan to do any gardening and it always rains the day after I
water the garden. Plus it always rains on Bank Holidays.

Tea and scones! They can be eaten inside. Lol

Welcome.

I live in Hampshire as well.

My son is doing his degree in maths and computing science, I think he wants to go on to software engineering.

That looks like some type of strawberry stuff on those scones or possibly raspberry. I hope that is real whipped cream and not Cool Whip that is stuffed inside.

Welcome to CC. Hardly you will have a straight week of BBQ weather, expecting the weather to be somehow as rainy as in Norway, but God is good and BBQ-ing can be an act of faith....

Looking forward to seeing you around.

Jeg snakker litte Norsk. Jeg har abeid paa Frigg Feld.

My spelling is probably ghastly after thirty years. I designed one of the computers installed on Frigg Field. I have many happy memories of working in Stavanger.

Så hyggelig at du fortsatt snakker litt norsk. Uansett. Anyway. Hyggelig å treffe deg her. Nice to meet you here.

I am with you in accepting Scripture above man made traditions :)

The nice thing about Bar B Ques is that you can cook on them regardless of the weather :D
