Okay Christian friends I need some help!! Two questions I'm going to ask!! 1) Does anyone have a number to call on weekends or holidays to talk to a Christian?? 2) Also and someone help give me an idea on how to start up a one 800-number?? That would be nondenominational and free all Christians year regardless of their denomination?? I have no clue and I'm reaching out for help!! May God bless and keep you and please serious inquiries only!! Bill

This OP doesn't belong in new members forum, for one. Two, it's doubtful that anyone here can or will, help you set up a 1 800 line. Do as Tourist suggested and use Google..

I have tried multiple 800 numbers and local Numbers!! That's why I'm reaching out!! I know that it wouldn't be an easy task and lots of logistics plus liability!! Is't God supposed to be available 24 hours a day?? Plz no one take to my blunt or forwardness!! I'm truly reaching out in the name of Christ for faith based help!! God bless!! Bill

Another option is to do this in person face to face.

I just did a Google search and there were many entries on how to set up a 800 number. You must be aware however that you will still have to get the word out by advertising this number and what it is about. Also, to be an effective service it's going to have to be more than just you answering the phone because if someone gets a busy signal or has to leave a message than they are just going to hang up and forget about it. There are probably 1000's of these numbers already in use for the purpose you described. Seems like overkill to me.

God IS available 24/7. It's called prayer. :)

Why use a phone line when all people gotta do is open their mouths and pray??

Have you considered volunteering to answering calls for a Christian 1-800 number that already exists?

i think im understanding your purpose, alot of christians are alone alot and could benifit from having someone to call and just talk about things in thier life, or to help form a good bond. i have no idea How to set up a 800 number but as others have suggested, a google search can provide tons of info and make it pretty easy i would think.

i see a good benifit if its something God has put in your heart to do, pursue it bro, could end up helping some lonely people, and form good friendships, al;so a place to discuss things we might not want to discuss with people in our family or circle of daily life. God bless

Oh my gosh you like totally get it!! That's what I'm trying to say!! Everyone says pray to God and I get that!! It's not lack of prayer!! It's not lack of faith either!! I personally feel like sometimes it would just be nice to talk to somebody!! I can imagine that it would not be an easy task!! God sacrificed everything for us and why can't we sacrifice back?? You know!! Well thank you for your input so very much!! I and open to honesty regardless if it's good, bad, or indifferent!! God bless you also buddy, i think you have a great idea, even if there already are some numbers, not that i know one way or the other, but a "fellowship" type phone line where chroistians can further connect and share thier lives cvan only be a great idea, most likely something offered to you by the good Lord. pursue it.

Just type in your google search bar ( or any search bar) " How to set up a toll free 800 number. and there should be alot of info that comes up to help you figure out the " how to's"

Because I recently just turned my life back over to God and did not have a full-time church yet!! I am not making up excuses I know that I need to find one!! At the same time I scoured the Internet and I didn't know where!! So if God can use me as a conduit to help other people I would gladly submit!! God bless and thank you for your comments !! Bill

we should be asking whats wrong not be mean. Pantherman whats wrong. WHat are you needing. We can pray for you or bring scripture to you. Whats up the Body of Christ. How would you feel if you need people to talk to. Yes God is 24/7 but we still need friends sometimes nothing wrong in that.
