Hello!

My name's Nicole and I'm new here. I came to faith in middle school, but my relationship with God really took off in college. Now I'm going into the "real world" to be a professional dancer, a world where Christian community can be hard to find. I'm likely to be moving every 6-12 months for the next few years, just because that's how it goes in my field, which will make it hard to have a "home church" or be involved in Christian community. So that's why I joined this forum!

I'm curious if there are any other Christian performing artists out there! I really have a heart for the performing arts community and I'm excited that God has called me into this little-reached place. I'm praying for a job where I'm surrounded with open hearts that God has prepared to hear the Gospel, and for the Holy Spirit to guide me in my artistic endeavors.

I hope to get to know you all soon!

A couple I have just gotten to know much better through Bible study fellowship
is moving away and it is a bit sad, but it has been wonderful getting to know them,
and they have likewise appreciated the fellowship they were able to find in my
home church even if only for a short time... we have all been blessed by each
other, and I hope you are likewise able to find wonderful friendships, even if
they are shot lived, while you dance your way through your chosen profession :)

I am praying that you do the very best with what God has given you to work with. In the work place there is such a thing called work performance that every employee gets graded on each work day. So in a sense I am a performer also even though it's usually not very entertaining. It seems to me that you are on the right spiritual path. I do believe that the Holy Spirit is guiding you on this artistic endeavor. Glad to have you join our family. Looking forward to your posts talking about this adventure you have undertaken.
