I don't know I generally look at God's forgiveness as he is very forgiving. And if we use him like we say we do or follow his word, his way, then should we really keep committing the same sins we keep asking forgiveness for? And just for me personally I think it's crazy to assume that asking for forgiveness after committing murder means he'll forgive you and let you into heaven. So I guess what I should've said, is yes he is very forgiving but don't we actually have to stop committing the sin, to find salvation at some point. And I've also personally learned, just because I love God so much and do my best to listen to what he tells me, doesn't guarantee me a spot in heaven. I mean he already gave up his son for me, and literally to expect him to do anything else for me is crazy. Considering he gave up his son, and that everytime I ask for forgiveness he forgives me and loves me, and shows me the way. I pray for his love and mercy yes, and will continue to go where he leads me. But just that I get to experience his love is more than enough for me, and because I am so imperfect regardless, there is no telling what he'll say when I get to him. However my interpretations are mine, I'd be interested in hearing yours?
I don't know if you have children, but I do, a,d I can tell you that no matter how many times they screw up, EVEN AFTER THEY SAID THEY WOULDN'T ANYMORE, I forgive them and huh them and love them. How much more do you think our heavenly Father would love and forgive us?

I'm not really sure how to report her or I definitely would.
It wouldn’t appear that you agree with God that your sexual sin is evil (Lev 18:22, 20:13, 1 Ki 14:24, Ro 1:24, 26, 27
). One who had truly repented ofhis sin would not justify himself in his sin.
…God can see what's she's doing…
Loving my neighbor (Ac 20:20).

…I honestly do not care about her words.
Who cares about my words?
Eph 4:14 What has God said?
Jn 8:37
For if I never struggled with what I've struggled with…
The Holy Spirit indwells believers. He lives in those who have repented (Ps. 51:10–13).

...If he had nothing to help me overcome, there would be no story about him and how magnificent he is.
When will you start being an overcomer? Today?
Tomorrow?
The next day?

The wickedness of Sodom ([Ex 20:14]
heterosexual [Lev. 20:10–12] or homosexual [Lev. 20:10,13]) was notorious (Gen. 13:13).

[Hoping You'll Understand]
Hoping you understand that our minds aren't so open to your lifestyle that our brains fall out. God has a way that leads to live and abundant living (Jn 10:10). Your way leads to death.

"II. THE COURT RECORD (1:18–32): Paul records the evidence presented at this trial.
A. The general charge (1:18–19): “God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively.”
B. The specific charges (1:20–32)
1. First indictment—inexcusable ignorance (1:20) : God has always revealed his existence and power to mankind.
2. Second indictment—ingratitude (1:21) : People are thankless, refusing to worship their Creator.
3. Third indictment—insolence (1:22) : Claiming themselves to be wise without God, they become fools instead.
4. Fourth indictment—idolatry (1:23) : They exchange God’s glory for idols resembling mere people, birds, animals, and snakes.
5. Fifth indictment—immorality (1:24–27): They are guilty of lesbianism and homosexuality.
6. Sixth indictment—incorrigibility (1:28–32)
a. They embrace their wicked deeds (1:28–31).
b. They endorse their wicked deeds (1:32) ." Willmington, H. L. (1999). The Outline Bible (Ro 1:17–32). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers.

I should have clarified better. :) Her POSTS are vile and evil, and filled with sexually inappropriate emojis..

I completely disagree with how this person operates, and she DOES need to be called out for it. But this is a little rough. Can't we view her as the incredibly broken person she is and just love and pray for her?

Welcome to CC Perfectlyimperfect!! I hope you find joy in the Lord here while communing with your brothers and sisters in Him!

And her attitude is far from Christlike, saying the nastiest thing she can think of to people sharing their hearts in posts.

Although you didn't use the "REPLY WITH QUOTE" feature, I am assuming this post is directed at me (It helps a lot if you reply through that feature.)

One distinct difference between the way we believe is the fact that I understand REPENT to mean that, basically, I have accepted and trusted in Jesus' ability and desire to save me with that one single act of taking the death that was waiting for me.
I never really looked at it that way or never have I been taught to look at it that way. I guess it could be attributed to all the not so good examples I've seen all my life. And now trying to make sense of it all in a way that I understand and works for me. I know I am forgiving when I repent, and when I ask him to take away things that he does not agree with he absolutely does and it's fine with me. But because I'm a sinner, I always seem to mess up, and yes I feel like God gets tired of me messing up over and over again, when he has shown me the way to live. But I also know he knows how imperfect I am and forgives me when I repent. And I guess I view everything in such an emotional way because God has emotions and I interpret the Bible as his emotions, and him showing us how to control our emotions. So I guess that's why I have an emotional response or whatever.

I'm hoping to find someone to relate to. A little about me well, I'm from the US I struggle with same sex attraction but have recently learned after all these years God does not hate me and indeed just wants me to control my feelings. And that he also, really just doesn't like any sin and really does seem to know what's best for me. For the most part, I have a heart of gold and really just want to talk about how God accepts us all for who we are and makes us who he wants us the be. And how is love and mercy is so wonderful. I'm also on a search just to see if God has made a man on this Earth who is not controlled by his desires but one who actually loves God as much as I do. Basically, just seeing if there are actually gentle, kind, God fearing men on this Earth. But mostly, I just want to discuss God and get other people's thoughts and interpretations on the Bible.
Welcome! Gentle, kind, God fearing men do actually exist. You'll find yours in God's timing.

I think you'll like this site. I haven't been here long, and I've learned to ignore some things, but for the most part, the people here are loving and more than willing to discuss Bible interpretations.

I never actually thought of it that way. But at some point you expect your children to just do right, correct? And yes I understand, even when then don't you'll still love them.

Of course, but I understand what you mean though. I can only speak for myself, but I want to do the right thing for our Father now. Not because I am good, and honestly through no power of my own. Before He saved me and made me new I really couldn't care less about "being good", or wanting to follow Jesus example and commands. It is only through His Spirit that has indwelt me that I even desire that at all. We will WANT to be obedient once we receive the free gift and completely undeserved salvation only Christ blood can provide us. It is out off 100% submissive gratitude I now do the "works" He has called us to do, not 1% credit belongs to me it is 100% His, and 100% for His glory. While I agree with what Penn is saying, I also agree with you as far as once we are truly saved He empowers us to be better, and we will. If you are not changed and seeking to be closer to Him in spirit and deed then you may want to reevaluate yourself to see if a true conversion has taken place. That's my understanding and experience thus far anyway.

I don't know I generally look at God's forgiveness as he is very forgiving.
…When you repent. We forgive others when they repent. God forgives men when they repent.

If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him (Lk 17:3, emphasis mine). When/if you are convicted of your sin, you can be saved (Acts 2:37, 38).

See:

"Stop Me Before I Forgive Again!..." by Bob Enyart
...I think it's crazy to assume that asking for forgiveness after committing murder means he'll forgive you and let you into heaven.
Jeffrey Dahmer repented. He will be in heaven.

…he is very forgiving but don't we actually have to stop committing the sin, to find salvation at some point.
He didn't come to die for you sins because he had nothing better to do (Jud 4). He died to free you from your sin (Mt 1:21). If he’s not your Lord, he’s not your savior.
...[E]verytime I ask for forgiveness he forgives me and loves me…
You sin presumptuously (Ps. 19:13). Thought you said you
struggle (Eph 4:14).
…I get to experience his love is more than enough for me, and because I am so imperfect regardless…
No you don’t (Is 48:22).

…[T]here is no telling what he'll say when I get to him.
The verdict is in. This is what we call in the Greek—a no brainer (Eph 4:14).

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (Jn 3:19).
However my interpretations are mine...
Given to you by demons. They live so comfortably in you.

""Stop Me Before I Forgive Again!..." by Bob Enyart "

Anyone think this guy is worth quoting? From Wikipedia...

Enyart pickets the homes of doctors performing abortions resulting in one Colorado town banning such protests in residential areas.[SUP][3]

[/SUP]Enyart also angered families of AIDS victims when he read the men's obituaries on his television show calling the deceased "sodomite"s.

Enyart has also led residential protests against executives of a company which provided construction services for
Planned Parenthood offices leading to similar neighbor complaints.[SUP][5][/SUP]

Enyart is a proponent of
corporal punishment of children saying that their "hearts are lifted" by spanking.[SUP][7][/SUP] He was convicted for misdemeanor child abuse in 1994 after beating his girlfriend's child with a belt so hard that the beating broke the skin.
[SUP]

[/SUP]In June 2009, Bob Enyart was convicted of criminal trespass following a protest at Focus on the Family.

Enyart is also the first cousin of Michael Galluccio, a gay rights activist in New Jersey.
Enyart promotes the idea that homosexuals should be put to death for their biological disposition.

Serpent, why do you keep referencing Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer/cannibal? He did NOT repent, wasn't even a Christian, and he's dead and burning in hell now.. You are seriously disturbed. Please get some help.

Enyart is a fine servant of the Lord (Eph 4:14).
Pastor of the church in Denver? So you agree with his behavior as posted above?! Sure doesn't sound like a servant of the Lord to me. Care to explain?
