Ha believe me it takes time and isn't as easy as it seems. But for me personally I'm just sick of adding to negativity. And we're all imperfect that's why she can say or do whatever she'd like that's between her and Jesus. I'm not here to pass out judgement I'm here to show that I'm imperfect, because that's kind of the point of the Bible. That God knows we're not perfect he just wants us to strive to be like him.
Welcome Imperfect - Jesus is wonderful isn't He? For He loves us as we are; but never leaves us that way, Right?!! Smile. I am not even talking about anything specific at this juncture, He simply takes us all this way and changes us from death into life positionally, and experientially. From the Old with all of that cast away and buried, to the New being all things new thru the transformation of the mind and body.

He is perfect and, as you know, wants to walk with you in perfect harmony thru a right relationship with God where He (the perfect One) can show you He is in your New Creation as well, as Lord of it; transforming you thru His empowerment to willfully apply yourself by His will to live as Jesus lived; fully backed by the power of the Kingdom of Heaven.. You are "Christ-like", as you remain in Christ. You and Christ fully and miraculously merged, with Him taking the lead as Lord of your life.

Not Imperfectlike-with-Perfect; for this is not transformation, that would be no cross over at all, but simply additional means to the old self, or fixing the old self - which is impossible for we must be "Born-again". There is an actual miraculous transformation that happens traveling from death to life in the totality of being separated from the world and yet being with Jesus long enough for Him to be your Lord willfully and not just your Savior.

He will equip you and leave you confident and at peace standing in Him as yourself being His son whereby you can go into the world and now be the light of it, as He draws all men to Himself thru your obedience to Him. Awesome stuff! And you don't have to be a brainiac just a follower of Jesus as He uses you in His timing and abilities as you continue to grow in His Word. You are separate from the world and protected by God Himself.

Now, this is not just lack of negativity; for the death of Christ is also your own, and experientially your growth will have stages of growing pains, based on those experiences making what God is in you, your own. You are to willfully put to death the things of the flesh, empowered by God, but their need never be lack of His ultra bright good news in the fact that in the new man or New Life in Jesus is your way and truth and life which results in bearing His fruit which glows beyond yourself yet is co-experienced with God as yourself. I am my best audience when God works thru me. I am in awe of His grace and power; and I am humbled.

In other words, He is your Salvation, and your life. "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live - ah, but I do live, yet still, and powerfully I might add - for it is this miraculous transformation of me dying to the right to myself, which can be a moment of transformational difficulty and willful conclusions, enabling myself to be totally dependent on Christ whom now is my life and way and truth. This is my life I now live in the body, as a bondservant to that right relationship to God thru Jesus Christ who by way of the Holy Spirit communicating with my newly enlivened spirit living in victory thru my freedom and liberty of the Cross guaranteeing my day in heaven to come in Christ and in no one else, or nothing else as I serve His will and purposes and intentions on earth." That was extremely paraphrased, but you got it right?!! Smile.

Hey, We will always accept you as you are, and love you as well. God loves because He doesn't know how else to be - for He is love and He has graced us with His Son who is also love incarnate. And as such His role was to lay down His life poured out that you and I, can too, pour out our lives for others in keeping with His purposes and intentions and character. God said, "..Whosoever believeth in Me, shall not perish, but will have everlasting life." AMEN. And that is given at the start of the journey not at the end in Him. May God richly Bless you my friend. MY name is Dan. I would love to chat more sometime..

Serpent, why do you keep referencing Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer/cannibal? He did NOT repent, wasn't even a Christian, and he's dead and burning in hell now.. You are seriously disturbed. Please get some help.

Dahmer was apparently baptized in prison, did Bible studies, and some believe came to the Lord. My cousin was a prison Chaplin for years and though I believe people can and do come to the Lord in prison I'd have a bigger doubt about Dahmer who would be an expert at deceit. I hope he did make that choice but Id have to say Id be very skeptical.

Of course, but I understand what you mean though. I can only speak for myself, but I want to do the right thing for our Father now. Not because I am good, and honestly through no power of my own. Before He saved me and made me new I really couldn't care less about "being good", or wanting to follow Jesus example and commands. It is only through His Spirit that has indwelt me that I even desire that at all. We will WANT to be obedient once we receive the free gift and completely undeserved salvation only Christ blood can provide us. It is out off 100% submissive gratitude I now do the "works" He has called us to do, not 1% credit belongs to me it is 100% His, and 100% for His glory. While I agree with what Penn is saying, I also agree with you as far as once we are truly saved He empowers us to be better, and we will. If you are not changed and seeking to be closer to Him in spirit and deed then you may want to reevaluate yourself to see if a true conversion has taken place. That's my understanding and experience thus far anyway.
Exactly what I mean, once he shows us it is possible to live without whatever sin it is we asked for forgiveness for and asked him to change in us, once he changes our hearts. Shouldn't we move onto the next sin, instead of going backwards. Because there will always be a new sin to fix, because we're imperfect.

You are highly welcome my dear sister in JESUS' NAME.
JESUS CHRIST loves you and so do I.
Feel free to express yourself here and also feel free to write me anytime and I will reply you as the LORD Will.

The Truth is that all of us have sinned and come short of the Glory of GOD as it is written, " Since all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of GOD (Romans 3:23)." But because GOD loves us so much, HE sent HIS SON-JESUS CHRIST to die for us all and that whosoever believe in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

GOD loves you so much my sister and HE loves everyone from all tribes, tongues and nations but GOD hate sin. I repeat, GOD hate sin! Sin is anything contrary to the WORD of GOD (e.g. lying, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, gossiping, greediness, stealing, cheating, killing, malice etc. All these are sins and GOD ALMIGHTY hate them all.) GOD does not hate us but HE hate sin.

If you are struggling with any sin, confess them to GOD and ask HIM to help you. If truly you don't love what you are doing, the HOLY SPIRIT will help you overcome the situation you may be struggling with.
GOD'S knows the heart of everyone and if truly we hate the sins we are committing and we really want to change from them and do what is right, HE will help us.

For GOD sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through HIM. He who believes in HIM is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only Son of GOD (John 3:17-18)."

So my dear sister, believe in JESUS CHRIST and live your daily life according to HIS WORD. Make HIS WORD the standard for your life; and always call on HIM to help you in whatsoever you may be struggling with.

I'm hoping to find someone to relate to. A little about me well, I'm from the US I struggle with same sex attraction but have recently learned after all these years God does not hate me and indeed just wants me to control my feelings. And that he also, really just doesn't like any sin and really does seem to know what's best for me. For the most part, I have a heart of gold and really just want to talk about how God accepts us all for who we are and makes us who he wants us the be. And how is love and mercy is so wonderful. I'm also on a search just to see if God has made a man on this Earth who is not controlled by his desires but one who actually loves God as much as I do. Basically, just seeing if there are actually gentle, kind, God fearing men on this Earth. But mostly, I just want to discuss God and get other people's thoughts and interpretations on the Bible.

...[O]nce he shows us it is possible to live without whatever sin it is...
Which is it?
Have you repented of (Acts 8:22) turned from (Acts 9:35) your sin?

You stated:

PerfectlyImperfect quote: …[H]e is very forgiving but don't we actually have to stop committing the sin, to find salvation at some point.

What point was that? Was there a point when you were converted? Acts 15:3

...we asked for forgiveness...
With or without repentance? Turning from sin and toward God (1 Sam. 7:3).
...[T]here will always be a new sin to fix, because we're imperfect...
Which is it?
Are you and overcomer or are you not an overcomer?

You stated:

PerfectlyImperfect quote: "...If he had nothing to help me overcome..."

Are you presently living as an overcomer as the Holy Spirit enables us to live?
Or, are you living habitually in sin?
1 Jn 3:9

Great,do a study and get back to me on what her issue is. All I see so far is cult like behavior. Ive had it up to here with the whirly gigs with random verses and hateful rhetoric.
Don't let her get to you. Your beauty and kindness are louder than her words of judgement and hatred!

I don't know I generally look at God's forgiveness as he is very forgiving. And if we use him like we say we do or follow his word, his way, then should we really keep committing the same sins we keep asking forgiveness for? And just for me personally I think it's crazy to assume that asking for forgiveness after committing murder means he'll forgive you and let you into heaven. So I guess what I should've said, is yes he is very forgiving but don't we actually have to stop committing the sin, to find salvation at some point. And I've also personally learned, just because I love God so much and do my best to listen to what he tells me, doesn't guarantee me a spot in heaven. I mean he already gave up his son for me, and literally to expect him to do anything else for me is crazy. Considering he gave up his son, and that everytime I ask for forgiveness he forgives me and loves me, and shows me the way. I pray for his love and mercy yes, and will continue to go where he leads me. But just that I get to experience his love is more than enough for me, and because I am so imperfect regardless, there is no telling what he'll say when I get to him. However my interpretations are mine, I'd be interested in hearing yours?
Uh oh...
Romans 7:19
For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing.

'It may support thy heart, to consider that in these troubles God is performing that work in which thy soul would rejoice, if thou didst see the design of it. We are clouded with much ignorance, and are not able to discern how particular providences tend to the fulfilment of God's designs; and therefore, like Israel in the wilderness, are often murmuring, because Providence leads us about in a howling desert, where we are exposed to difficulties; though then he led, and is now leading us, by the right way to a city of habitations. If you could but see how God in his secret counsel has exactly laid the whole plan of your salvation, even to the smallest means and circumstances; could you but discern the admirable harmony of divine dispensations, their mutual relations, together with the general respect they all have to the last end; had you the liberty to make your own choice, you would, of all the conditions in the world, choose that in which you now are. Providence is like a curious piece of tapestry made of a thousand shreds, which, single, appear useless, but put together, they represent a beautiful history to the eye.' 1

"Truth is hate to those who hate the truth." ~ Bob Enyart

As a reminder, cowards get dragged off to hell first (Re 21:8).
Re 22:11

Enyart pickets the homes of doctors performing abortions resulting in one Colorado town banning such protests in residential areas.[SUP][3]

[/SUP]Enyart also angered families of AIDS victims when he read the men's obituaries on his television show calling the deceased "sodomite"s.

Enyart has also led residential protests against executives of a company which provided construction services for
Planned Parenthood offices leading to similar neighbor complaints.[SUP][5][/SUP]

Enyart is a proponent of
corporal punishment of children saying that their "hearts are lifted" by spanking.[SUP][7][/SUP] He was convicted for misdemeanor child abuse in 1994 after beating his girlfriend's child with a belt so hard that the beating broke the skin.
[SUP]

[/SUP]In June 2009, Bob Enyart was convicted of criminal trespass following a protest at Focus on the Family.

Enyart is also the first cousin of Michael Galluccio, a gay rights activist in New Jersey.
Enyart promotes the idea that homosexuals should be put to death for their biological disposition.

Are you a pro-abort? Pr 8:36
Do you think homosexuals should be put to death? Do you think its ok to beat a child till they bleed? Are you ok with criminal trespass? Or the fact that Enyart has been married more than once? Rev. 223:64 and a half.

I feel you, she obviously has nothing better to do. So I'll pray God helps her find something to do. I know for a fact God said "Do unto others as you would have done unto you."

Lol that's funny. I'm not worried about her comments though, because no matter what God knows what I've done and whether I've asked for forgiveness or not. And he also knows exactly what my triggers are which is why he's constantly testing me. But because the devil is a liar I will not participate in negative things, there's clearly way too much negative energy in the world as it is and I'm done adding to it.

Amen. I will see your positive energy and raise you a blessing.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Mt 5:48). Neither you nor I are perfect. Difference is--I've repented and will live (Matt. 3:8).
True repentance can not be judge by man. Yet as most will attest, when one turns their life to Yeshua, They live for for Him, and do their best to walk as He did. He didn't pass judgment on others, nor did he spend time being a hate filled little credence. In fact I do believe He said,
Luk 6:32 “If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them!
Jhn 13:34

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

Enough said?

Consideration of others feelings is a tricky prospect as a Christian. From my experiences there are Many Christians too afraid to be honest and upfront. It's almost seen as a sin to step on toes. True, there are times when a more gentle approach is needed. But there are also times when a blunt truth is more needed.
Jesus showed this example. At times he was gentle, while others he was direct or even harsh. Jesus was not gentle with the Pharisees, for example.
As one known for being more blunt, and having been criticized and attacked for it, told how negative it is. But I also get people thanking me for being so straightforward. It actually built them up Because I wasn't gentle.
I prefer to think of it as we all have different roles. Some are naturally inclined to be supportive and encouraging. Others have a knack for bluntness. We're all appendages of the same body, performing different roles is all. Just how God said it should be.
Never been to one of my sermons have you? When I was preaching full time, I always felt that if I was not steeping on toes, I wasn't doing my job. Though it can be done in a way that helps to lift up, and tare down.
