I can't seem to pull myself out of the mud. I am definitely at the bottom of the roller-coaster of life.

Please don't feel alone. We have all been there... in the muck and mud of this world. The emotional attacks which rob of us hope and fill us with helplessness. ~ Don't make the lonnnnnnnnnnnnng mistake of trying to "pull yourself out alone". If you manage that, it is only temporary. This is one of those things the Lord allows so we will call on Him to make the PERMANENT rescue of our hopelessness! He's closer than your own breath and loves when you call out to Him to save you from what seems to be the quick sand that will steal your life.~ Take time... wherever is the sweetest place you know... and just kneel in His presence and spill out all of what you feel is sucking you more deeply into the darkness of the "mud" of life.~ I promise... PROMISE... Jesus is right there to lift you out and love you into joy! His joy which never leaves us... even when our lives seem darkest. ~ It's an illusion of the enemy to convince you that there is NO HOPE, NO LIGHT, NO RESCUE and NO JESUS TO SAVE YOU! Remember, satan IS A LIAR, so every horrible thing you "think" you believe... is a lie straight out of the pit of hell.~ Look up into the eyes of Jesus and remove your focus from the muck and mud which have you weighed down.~ Before you realize it, you will be singing the songs of your heart to the Heart of Jesus.~ I promise!

I think Paul's advice, "Pray constantly," (1 Thess 5:17) is always helpful.

Once you have hit rock bottom the only place to go is up. God will lift you out of this pit of despair if you will extend your hand out to Him. I have been where you are and know it to be a very lonely and desolate place.

I'd rather not share as some of it's too personal. Especially on a public forum. I pray constantly. It seems that my prayers go unanswered for the most part. Yes, I know....He does it in his own timing. Yes, I know...he answers prayers as he sees fit. But this time, it seems it is taking forever. *facepalm*

There were 10 years of my life I thought God wasn't listening to my desperate prayers for help, for peace, for love, for understanding. I did a lot of the "face-palming" too. :rolleyes:As it turned out, I was deafened by the answers "I wanted", rather than those He was actually speaking. Ten years is a looooonnnnnnnng time to hear one's own words... Please, pray without your own expectation of how you want things to be... and remember to listen to God's voice of how He KNOWS it SHOULD be for you. ~ He will only give you his best when you let Him.

I understand that you don't want to share. It does make it a bit difficult to know what to say though.

Hug?

Do you have some kind of fellowship IRL? (I am an introvert myself, so I like being in my den, but every now and then other people are OK)

I love my den, makes it easier to retreat from everyone.

It also makes it easier to retreat from God.
