When you join, after you have done 50 posts, you get 1 power and 1 green bar. After that, the post counts increase, and it's different for everyone. You only have 36 posts, so people must have repped you to increase your green bars, but they won't kick in until you reach 50 posts.. :) Every time you get a green bar, the phrase changes: mine says "blue ladybug is respected by all as a sound brother/sister".. :)

Oh and for future reference, questions like this go in the user to user tech forum, not new members. :) There are tons of threads on this same subject, so use the advanced search bar (top right) and search "reputation points" or something like that..
