Uh..

Hello! I'm probably a little different when it comes to the smaller nitty gritty parts of our faith, but I believe in Christ, accept he died for me, believe in the trinity and abide by the ten commandment and of course Jesus' eleventh and twelveth command, love others, and love God.
Personally, I see these things as the necessities, the rest is the the nitty gritty, in my opinion that is. If I missed any major tenets remind me! If it's a true tenet I probably know and believe/abide by it, but forgot to mention it.

I do have some different beliefs than most, I have lots of trouble fitting in. I don't believe being gay is bad or that the same sex shouldn't marry, however strangely I'm an independent but leaning towards being Republican.... Yeah like I said, I can't hang with the liberal Christians most of the time, or the conservative ones. I understand if you don't agree with me or wish not to converse.

However if I even find a single friend, even if they don't agree with me, this will have been worth it.

Heh, well I'm pretty stable in my faith as is. Thanks for telling me what you think is best, I know it's in good intent but I've had years to grow and to think, I don't think I have reason to change that aspect of my life, or my own opinions about it.

The gay lifestyle is an abomination in God's eyes.. Not to mention having sex with your same gender is just unnatural, immoral, nasty and gross.. One cannot possibly be a true Christian, and support or condone being gay..

Ah, I knew I'd run across someone like you. That post seems to be very.... Negative and rude,

I believe that's against the rules, blue bug.

You say that you don’t believe being a homosexual is bad, yet the Lord said this:

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Lev 18:22 RSV

I think one of the reasons that God speaks so strongly against sexual sin is because it's the one category of sin that many people try to defend and justify the most.

Not so sure I agree with you.

I think it's because sexual sin whether we realise it or not has a spiritual connection, emotional connection.
Sex unites two people as one, they become one flesh.
When you walk away from that you then break the one.
That leaves jagged edges of hurt, pain.

Take a ruler. It's complete.
Now snap that ruler.
Its now jagged. Bits of it are missing.
When the ruler unites with someone else with sex it can't become one.

God is good though. He can heal the jagged edges and make those have indulged with sexual sin when they meet and marry the person God has given them as their long life partner through which both acknowledge by committing to each other through marriage.

My God, are you banning me? I thought the rules said to agree to disagree and not be rude, I've been polite, just giving my opinion. Listen, just avoid me, there's plenty of people on here that probably agree with you, so if you could kindly focus on that it would be great.... Please don't ban me I met some nice people I'm enjoying talking to.
