Newbie saying hello

Hi all. I am a newbie, so be easy on me lol

My name is Ian. I am 29 year old Scotsman now living in Texas. Married to a mean little Texan girl.
I am a big tech lover. Love to work on computers. Windows, Mac's, Linux etc. I am deeply into battery technology. I always want to take something and improve on it.

I found Jesus in the summer of 2004 when my wife was fighting for her life. I found myself praying. For the first time I honestly had faith. He heard me and saved my love. I am deeply lost about how I can improve my life for jesus. I am a man with a lot of mental scars and trying to fight my past that seems to keep me down when I try to move forward in my new life. I know I am not a bad person but I need to do better. I have yet to be baptized. I don't feel I am ready yet. I do talk to him in my own way. I know in my heart he is with me. I need to find my own path and I know the road is long.

I have come to Christian Chat to try find people who may be on the same road or has been. Also just to chat and meet interesting people.

THe road is not neccesarily long but it is narrow. Yes, seek the kingdom of God, first, and his righteousness and all the former things will be added. THe first baptism you need is the one that takes place in your heart. You see, john came preaching repentance and by the hearts of the men they were baptised of him. The actual baptism of water was an outward demonstration of the inward change. But there is another baptism that is A MUST. Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Look to God for answers not to man.
