I thank the Lord for finding me when I got lost, 3-4 years of wandering around took it's toll. I can see Gods spirit so much clearer, at least now I can say "Without true spirituality, there is only materialism."

The more material possessions I accumulated, the more I would feel empty. "Put God first" they say, and that is true.

Just some advice, though: If you don't really know the Bible that well, or mind getting insulted or put down in any way, I suggest that you don't post in the Bible Discussion Forum (BDF).

I've been put down since I was a Child, having both of my leg's broken at 2 years of age. I was bullied by kids throughout my whole school life, and my foster parents were very cruel to me.

But I don't take it to well when those who say they know the love of the Lord, purposely hurt others. So I know what you're talking about.

Let's see how I go.

Welcome here you can discuss with bible smart people and possibly make new friends,hope you like it here!
Also I've been through cruelty as well but it has made me stronger and closer with God overtime realizing that since I've witnessed so many atrocities in my life that there is hardly anything that one can say or put in front of me as a stumbling block that will surprise me or deter me from working for God.
