New to this... my wife left me after 13 years

Hello Eric,
I just separated from my wife 2 months ago so I know what you are going through. I have been married for 19 years and I told my wife that we should separate ( not divorce) because the tension and strife was to much for me to endure. I felt that I needed to have some peace in my home and life. I have suggested that we get marriage counseling but she does not want to. I know God can do anything but fail. Like you I also have some issues that I need to work out with God and in doing so I believe God can restore my marriage as well as your. Keep the faith and continue to work on yourself God will do the rest. Be encouraged my brother and pray for me as I pray for you.

Thank you, I will pray for you and your wife as well, for The Lord to bring joy, peace and unity in your marriage. The Lord is a witness between us husbands and our wives, I believe He will restore our marriages. It is very difficult at times but His words won't return void. He says to forget the former things and not to dwell in the past. It makes sense when we are hoping and praying for restoration.
