Hello every one, name I go by the nickname of Deacon_D because that is the one my buddies in the navy gave me in 1953. I have been to almost every church but the JWs. One night when walking back to the ship lsaid in a prayer "lord, where are you?". Five years later I got an answer when I met the love of my life. We have been married 61 yrs and I find that the Bible is exciting. I love Daniel and Revelation.

I find the bible to be exciting too. It's great that God led you to the love of your life and that you have been married for 61 years. I'm a former army man myself and there are a lot of other members with military experience also. Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.

I received my basic training and AIT at Fort Jackson and served my enlistment at Fort Campbell with the 101st Airborne Division. I was also in the Air Force. I highly recommend military service for any young person as the experience gained is invaluable. Thank you for the service to your country. I am willing to surmise that you would also stand when the National Anthem is played and our flag is displayed unlike those in the NFL. I will proudly stand with you with my hand on my heart.

I thank you eminently. I’m a house bound Korean vet that loves the scriptures. I may know such things like who the two witnesses are and the twenty four elders are. Also quite a bit more
