Welcome to CC... don't believe any of the bad things you will hear about me...

by the way, can I borrow $50 until next payday?
Do people actually say bad things about you?

Let me at 'em and I'll set them straight... you are one of the good guys :):):)

btw, I've been thinking that "faith touches faith" was part of a scripture. But as I search for it, I'm thinking it must just have been something I heard in a message that was derived from a scripture, perhaps when the women touched the hem of Jesus' garment. Can anyone think of another instance? Anyway, that's the feeling I get here from all the Christian greetings)

And so the discussion goes......

Sometimes the threads here goes far off the track of the original post.

Welcome to CC. Where topics are chewed over over and over again. Where meatloaf haters bully the rest of the world. And where you might find some genuinly nice people, too.

Don't be scared, though. As you asked for praying friends, you could check out the prayer room in the chatrooms. I have often been blessed there. You can also post prayer requests here on the forums as well.

I too miss persons I can pray with. After moving to Norway, it has been difficult to find likeminded people locally.

Hopefully you will find fellowship here on this site.

I've heard of this "Canada" place... it's just north of Amarillo, isn't it?

Actually, I've been thinking for a while that a road trip up to Calgary would be fun... I've got a couple of friends that live up there...one of them is a guy I went to school with, and the other is a former elder of our church...

They ended up attending the same church in Calgary... small world.

Or perhaps alter ego lol, let's face it we both are funny at times and sarcastic at times but I'm a bit more subtle and you are a bit more direct and ruthless when discussing the bible.

Thanks. Might be cool to be in Norway. I recently read it has the highest quality of life of any country.

I was in Norway years ago for a few days; always wondered what it would be like to stay longer. This summer I went to Russia after talking about it for a couple years and taking some language courses.

I'm sure I'll find some people here. It might just take a bit to learn about different folks.

You are welcome to come back to Norway anytime! I will even throw in a free language course. (I am normally quite expensive, but I look at it as free advertizing ;-) ) I have already planned my trip to the States in five years time.

I don't know if my quality of life is as happy as in the statistics, but I am happy with my home and the view from my window.
