My name is Andrew born and raised in Michigan , my mom recently was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I was distraught, i had given up, I didn't see a point to go on. But then I felt like there was a reason to go on, i cant even explain what it felt like. So i bought a bible it seemed like the reasonable thing to do. I feel free. i wasn't a christian before this, i had never read the bible, but i always knew i loved God and Jesus. But i feel closer to God than before. Thanks ahead of time for any answers you guys give on my questions.

but when i first read the bible

i didnt go in order


i read genesis, exodus

then job a few times

isaiah

proverbs

psalms

then focused a lot on the nt
(matthew and onward)
went through a few times


before i went back and covered where i missed in the OT (before matthew)

as well as covered things i got rusty on in between
