God forgave our sins so we should see everyone as innocent children of God.

It might not be a wise thing to get to know the members before asking anyone to message you. Most members would also be reluctant to message a complete stranger as well. Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.

Not sure why people teach 'fear first' here (same people to new members). Yes maybe some discernment, but really, when we talk about fear it is used to control people (you are using fear to control people). It's like new member, hey this CAN be a bad place, don't trust anyone, watch out - see things MY way. Control. Fear is control, and it comes from the spirit of fear, not the spirit of love (but you think it does because it is YOUR form of caring, but it isn't caring, it is denying God). Correct yourselves please.

So warning people to use more caution, is spreading fear? I don't think so.. At least now the OP is aware of what could happen if she invites the entire site to message her..

Yep like lady bug said good to be cautious,some aren't always what they seem,one guy even posed as a teen before and was sending me creepy messages,plus posts on here can be searched for on google or other search engines,so it's best to be careful what you post especially concerning private personal information.

that was totally uncalled for,telling someone that there are still potential sickos around here is not spreading fear it just a simple advice because believe it or not people don't like to be harassed especially by a sleaze.

I would hope not that many...

lady bug isn't implying that everyone might be an enemy just that it's better to not be so open to others because some might go ahead and try pestering an individual if a person asks so quickly for messages,getting to know people is quite a good thing,like in my case,some people on here like blue lady bug I thought at first was mean,and overcriticized things,now I know she is more like a caring warden,seeking to warn,help,and protect everyone here that she can,as well as guide people to be more grammar prone instead of making wall texts,big deal she worries about people,I would be concerned if she didn't care as much as she does.

Guys stop scaremongering like that.
If the site is that bad best to leave and never come back.

Megandoll just use common sense if you meet "weird" people just ignore them or if there is issue contact admins.
Do not give private info and things like that and you should be totally fine.
