This is my facebook bio. It may be cryptic in a way that I now see for first time rereading it in some time.
long ago, i started on a journey, to where, i didnt know, nor did i know i was even on a journey. i went thru the general life of an 80's teen, school, hanging with friends, getting into some trouble, wondering about whether to work or go to college. so, i worked. at the time more school was not for me. perhaps, i made the better choice, to me, learning by experience is better than book learning. and eventually, i experienced many things. but by far, the best experience i had, was when i found The Truth. now, i had always talked to someone who wasnt there, but used to refer to it as God. things back then were tough, maybe not as now, but still much tension, personally and globally, personal tension now lessening. ever since i can remember, i had something keep telling me there is hope, never once did i throw my hands into the air and give up. no matter what happened, something inside me said keep looking. in the toughest time of my life, the 90's, things precipitated and i looked very hard to know if i was living a lie, believing in something not seen or heard. behold a new decade and, a new century, 2000. after having read so many books on the topic of 'religion', at last, i came upon a book which is said to be the most published book in history, The Holy Bible. reading the whole book, as anyone knows, is a task, but so was reading all the other books i had read before. after getting into the prophetic books, and then the New Testament, that something inside me started to burn. it seemed, as if, the words were alive. then i read about this One called by the name of The Holy Spirit, wondering who He is and when He would be coming. i kept vigil for the Son of Man, always looking into the sky, waiting for Him to come thru the clouds as written. then, lo and behold, i realized, He said He was, perhaps, coming as a thief in the night.
