Hello, Hmh, welcome to CC! I hope you enjoy your time with us :)

You are young yet, with much to look forward to! I was more
than twice your age when I finally surrendered my life to Christ.
Welcome to the family :D

Welcome to CC.
There's really nothing to be sad about. You got saved when you were ready. It couldn't have happened sooner. God knows this and His plans for you revolve around this foreknowledge. You haven't lost out on anything, because it all is in God's timing. Don't let false logic cause you to second guess God. You are where God wants you to be, and that's what you need to focus on. Not the past.
And you're so young still, that makes it even more true that you haven't lost out on a lot.

You are welcome! Life experience is valuable for helping others
facing the same challenges, and unfortunately it seems our youth
is under increasing pressure to be progressively liberal, which
often translates into embracing self-destructive values, and sin.

Pray always seeking His will, stepping out in faith,
and you will find the guidance you need.

Your life is just starting at the age of 24. You haven't missed any wonderful things and you won't if you keep your heart open to what the Holy Spirit is trying to lead you. Glad to see that you are a new creation in Christ. Welcome to CC.

Welcome aboard CC Hmh :)

I became a Christian in my early 20's too.. Don't discount what God can do with you into the future.. If He wills it you will be enabled to do awesome things.. Keep growing in the knowledge of salvation.. Keep asking Him for wisdom and understanding.. Even if you get sad or depressed with yourself, always know that you are truly Loved by a perfect Father who will carry you through anything..

Thank you blue lady bug but I’ve sinned enough to last me a lifetime. That’s why I say it like that.

Hello Hmh - Welcome!, One thing I won't say is, "Your so young!", even if to me you are, because I remember being that age and saying I have graduated High School and done may things, "I have lived a full life." And to be honest, I had lived a full life then. But we also have a chronological age in Christ huh?, and as a young babe in Christ I would want to encourage you! Encouragement in truth more so now than yet the deeper workings of the cross. That's what's so beautiful about Our Lord Jesus Christ, He is patient and kind and oh so loving and knows the perfect timing to things.

I am not speaking therefore to your natural age, but rather your spiritual age: Remember that God gives you of Himself and thus never first His blessings. Yes, He gives blessings as well, but only as He is doing so as Himself willing it. Happiness is joy with blinders on, and God never promised us happiness, only His joy. Happiness is conditional on outside influences and God has given you more than happiness could offer: His steadfastness and confidence and diligence in the manner of He Himself becoming your life, as you remain in Him.

Congratulations on the victory of Christ found in you; based on your belief and baptism into His life and History and promises! The angels sing and we do too. Thank God you can't hear me tho...I am off tune, but celebrations all around nonetheless.. :) Smile. Pass the goodies as well...Thx....

It is true, the earlier we submit to God the more His will and intentions and purposes can be entrusted to us to be apart of the Family of God. But rest assured God has always had it under control to meet every detail of His will on earth as it is in heaven. But now, it is a blessing to be apart of His Kingdom in all of that isn't it? Guard your heart AND MIND, therefore, remembering that righteousness is our way as His children. Sit in humility toward Christ for He has overcome the devil, and the world and He will battle for you as you obey Him. And place your mind in Christ putting on the Armor of God to protect from His influences therein.

He wants to isolate you in unnecessary guilt. A guilty person is the one who wants to be alone; the person who is right with God does not; neither does a child. The final curse of a disobedient soul is that it becomes a separate, self-conscious individual. You are forgiven - period! You have also been purified as white as snow! Not by what you have done, but on the grounds of what God's grace has done in sending His Son to die on a Cross for us conquering Sin and its contract against us in the first Adam. Now, thru belief and baptism You have now crossed from death unto life. Yet now He will mold Spiritual truth to be alive in you personally. This is a process of parenting; a process of obeying; and a process of revelation-to-experience thru the Holy Spirit. God will always be there in the prayer corner before you get there waiting for you to receive His love for you. He loves you that much.

Now you are liberty to not violate the law. But remember license means personal insistence on doing what makes you happy. At some point in time, God will build your character in Him, and it will empower you in His work and grow you in your relationship to Him. It will bring you and He even closer, but it will not always have the label - happiness. The deeper workings of the Cross are the event of holiness living, and you will need all of us to support you in going thru the walls of life as we all must do individually. Do you also have a local Church and Christian friends?

Praise God both for you and His making of your unique personality for all to enjoy, but also for being in you to develop another child of God to serve His will and intentions and purposes. I pray this was encouraging to move onward and upward in righteousness (Righteousness= a right relationship with God; a right alignment with God). Let go from what was once dead (your old life; let the dead bury themselves), and move on to what now is and will be in Him; your New Creation.. May God richly bless you here, my name is Dan. I hope to hear you in the hallways...
(John 5:23-24): ...English Standard Version (ESV)

23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
