Greetings.
I am a Christian devoted to Jesus Christ in the midst of the rebellion ("falling away") from Him (of Christians)---which is currently taking place, and which is at its limit---who also happens to have the prophetic gift. I am seeking other sincere believers to fellowship with, who are not caught up in any of the various apostate movements popular today or loyal to teachers, (other than Jesus Christ), or to groups or churches of this sort or the other, rather than to Jesus Christ and faithful to the doctrine of the New Testament, eschewing what does not agree with it and what is not of His Spirit.

I DON'T believe in the following: A pre-trib or mid-trib rapture; KJV-onlyism; women teaching doctrine; speaking in 'tongues' that aren't an existing language; 'prosperity gospel'; Christian denominations or sects (no hyphenated Christians); practices and traditions that are not a part of New Testament doctrine (including Christmas and Easter); keeping the Sabbath (or any part of the Mosaic law); Zionism; patriotism; "Christian" rock/rap music; "once-saved-always-saved"---to name the major things.

Is anyone left?

Well looking down your list i am mostly in agreement as long as your Anti KJV -onlyism is not an anti-KJV stance.. Most of the passionate anti KJV people in here are actually anti-KJV ism ..

I believe in a Day of the LORD rapture that happens on the day of the return of Jesus..
Woman should not be in Authority over men.. But woman can and should teach kids and can teach other woman about Jesus..
I do not pay any attention to gibberish tongues..
I reject the cargo cult that is called prosperity doctrine..
I believe Bible believing Christians who are lead by the Holy Spirit are the body of Christ / real church ..
I do not place any religious significance to either Christmas or Easter..
I believe that keeping the sabbath or not keeping the sabbath has no bearing on ones eternal salvation status.. If people want to honor a day then let them as long as their conscience is clear before the LORD
I do not support or oppose zionism.. Let the powers of this world rule as they do.. My King and Kingdom is not of this world..
When it comes to music i focus on the lyrics.. If they are an offense to God then that music ( no matter what style it is ) should not be listened too..
I do not support the calvinist doctrine of once saved always saved..

I doubt many people on this forum will be near to you in all your points..

Hello!

Wow. Such a loaded introduction.. :) Without even looking at your flag I know you're American. It seems that it's Christians in countries like the US or in Europe that describe this time as the "falling away". Yet, I wonder how Christians feel in places like the Middle East or Africa or Asia? Maybe the same, but I wonder?

Sounds like you'll fit right in with the Bible Discussion Forum (BDF) crowd. You sound exactly like them. Not in sharing all the same beliefs, but in your tone and attitude. Have fun.

Your going to fit right in here, especially in the Bible Discussion Forum. Even with your list of what you don't believe in there are probably quite a few that you may find something in common in regards to biblical spiritual beliefs. No crickets chirping yet. Looking forward to your posts as it might prove to be quite interesting. Glad to have you as part of our community. Welcome to CC.

My thoughts are trending the same way.

It's not crickets but holding back laughter because it's not polite to laugh at those who have not been immersed in the word of God with knowledge, understanding with wisdom.

It does not take a gift of prophecy to see you have some rough sledding ahead.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

For the cause of Christ

Greetings.
I agree with your reply, and thank you for it.

No, I am not anti-KJV, just anti KJV-only. (My first Bible was a KJV, and I enjoyed it and learned from it the same as the other two versions I used).

I am sure that most of the people on this forum will not agree with some or much of what I listed, but that proves my point about the apostasy. (It may sound like a proud thing to say, but pride has nothing to do with it. It's a matter of correctness and what is pleasing to God--which should be all Christians' foremost concern (but isn't). How is upholding and contending for the faith as it was delivered to us proud? How does Jesus feel about it? (What an outrageous and backwards time it is!)

The love of most has grown cold---appearances and words notwithstanding (by God's definition of what love for Him is, not people's feelings or ideas); and Christians like myself are, sadly, in the minority. I know there are others out there, but they're nearly impossible to find.

That would be interesting to know, FenceMan.

I suspect that Christians the world over are influenced by and practicing to some degree the 'modern' version of Christianity that is pretty much universal, with variations--modeled on the kind practiced and exported by American (USA) Christians, which deviates greatly from New Testament Christianity.

There are more conservative Christians, here in the US and in other countries, but most of them are also practicing unscriptural traditions and preferring the teachings of men over the teachings of the New Testament. They belong to sects or churches which teach some truth and some error as truth, and may even border on being cultish in their devotion to pet doctrines or pastors or leaders.

Being conservative is only good if its based on faith and the New Testament's teachings, not man-made traditions or rules. New Testament Christianity, when lived, is by its very essence 'conservative'.

Apostasy is apostasy, whether it has a religious appearance or a secular one. The falling away is universal, although Christians in some countries may be worse, generally, in terms of their degree of apostasy, than those in others.

I actually understand what you're talking about, I agree with you, and don't think you were actually trying to be offensive at all, I found it refreshingly honest. I agree 100% wholeheartedly with you. I see way too much of "man" in the church today, I also feel the division is far too prevalent. That all said what do I do about it? I go to a Pentecostal church, so the tongues, and pre-trib beliefs are strong. I don't believe the bible teaches either one, but I also believe that I am right where I'm suppose to be, even under the pastor I'm supposed to be under now. I also know we in Christ are on a walk, and I don't believe the same as I did 4 years ago when I was reborn, I know a reborn child of God can see it from both perspectives, all I can do is share the things I've learned and pray He lead us all closer to Him in truth.

It is best to use the [ Reply With Quote ] option while discussing things in the forums.. That way it is clear to everyone who we are replying to.. That way wires don't get crossed and confusion does not reign. :)

It's a shame you can't enjoy Christ. Perhaps one day He will show you the same beauty He sees.

Thank you for the welcome; but I doubt I'll make friends. Although that would certainly be nice; but most people aren't going to like me---even though I love them.
