I posted before I introduced. sorry. I was saved two years ago at my parents Independent Baptist church. First time with Asst Pastor did not take, I didn't mean it. Second time, I met with the Head Pastor and he told me I could pray seven times the sinners prayer and if I didn't mean it, it would not work. I meant it. doubts come now and then, and I've done it six more times BC of it. I followed in Believers Baptism on Dec 13, 2015.

I was heavily oppressed with demons for several months prior to it. I have a very frightening testimony. I was into New Age for many years. I didn't believe in God until I saw evil before me and had no choice to admit he existed.

I'm a blogger at jenunderwood.tk
can I post? if not, sorry. God has called me to write even though I'm messed up.

You don't need to pray the sinners prayer seven times over. Once is good enough for God. :) And your pastor isn't very smart for telling you that..

Yep sincerity and humbleness, are "most important" to God when praying, not some silly repetition, even Jesus spoke on that "Repetition/Tradition" are not the same as "having your heart close to him",The Pharisees had many a tradition to "look clean, respectable or in fasting" but they were liars because their "hearts" were far from God/Jesus.

What she said was that her pastor told her that she if she prayed seven times, if she didn't mean it then nothing would change.
She did Not say her pastor told her to pray seven times. He was making a point.

I can totally relate to demonic oppression, as I have been under massive attack myself many years....feeling little better lately but it all expanded my consciousness at least and I posted my conclusions on **HERESY LINK REMOVED** if you are curious...

Well we all know there are no such things as Pharisees anymore. I mean can you imagine that, you would have people quoting scripture and parroting the Bible all the time, telling others they are wrong, correcting them, appearing to know God and you don't know God, all the while lacking the ability to have love and kindness in their words over arrogant logic, giving the appearance of living a clean life with a pure mind, that God is with them and not with you (you need to be guided by them), all the while living an unclean life with an impure mind.

I'm glad these people don't exist.
