Greetings fellow Christians :). I came to these forums interested in the chat rooms. You can learn more about me on my "about me" page.

The main stickler point for me is that I do believe that Jesus was a real person; I believe that has been proven. But, I'm still not with the contemporary belief that Jesus was "God in the Flesh," instead believing that Jesus did what he did through the Holy Spirit and his relationship with God the Father. Also, I still have the old testament to read in order to understand the prophecy that underlies Jesus special status as "Son of God" (I'm currently doing an intensive devotional to read the Old Testament in under 100 days).

Peace be to all and blessings :).

Hey Fumble, welcome to the site.

This post may be more fitting for the Bible Discussion Forums. This section is more of meet and greet than discussion.

May I strongly suggest that you seek, find, and WATCH a video online called "The Fabric of Time?"

Great to see that you are open to my suggestion. Just for clarification, the subject is the Shroud of Turin (the suspected burial cloth of Jesus Christ), and I believe it was from the year 2009. How was it made 2,000 years ago, with 3D (depth information) encoding, which would have required super-accurate laser equipment?

That throws some people off that Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, for the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain God for He is an omnipresent Spirit,so how could Jesus dwelling in flesh be God.

But the Bible says God was manifest in the flesh, and God said there was no God formed before Him,and there shall be no God formed after Him,and He is the only Savior, which He laid down His life for us,and purchased the Church with His own blood.

In the Old Testament God told the Jews that He would reveal a new name to them, and would speak to them, and Jesus said to Philip if you have seen Me then you have seen the Father, for the words that I speak are not My own,but the Father that dwells in Me,He does the works.

God manifest in the flesh means that God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus, for He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and He has the Spirit without measure, and it pleased the Father than in Him all fulness should dwell, and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God,for God cannot be separated, and the man Christ Jesus is the personal human body of God.

Jesus is the only way the saints can see God,and the visible relationship of God to the saints forever, and there is one throne in heaven, and one who sits on that throne, which is the throne of both God and the Lamb,God in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus.

There is one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus.

Jesus said all power is given to Me in heaven and earth.

Jesus is at the right hand of God.

God's right hand represents power, wisdom, and salvation.

David said, the LORD said unto My Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.

For the Son must reign until His enemies are conquered, then the Son shall submit to the Father that God may be all in all.

God exalted the man Christ Jesus to exercise the throne of power,be at His right hand, until His enemies are conquered, then the Son shall submit to the Father, stop exercising the throne of power, not be at the right hand, that God may be all in all.

Jesus at the right hand of God is a temporary role until His enemies are conquered, and Jesus is the only person we will see in heaven, and if you have seen Jesus then you have seen the Father, for He is a visible manifestation of God,and God's personal glorified body.

The Spirit in Jesus is connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God,and Jesus does not have His own Spirit that moves around with Him,for the Spirit does not have to move for the Spirit is already there, but the man Christ Jesus moves through the Spirit, and where ever He is at the Spirit is there, the same as with the saints.

1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Jesus is God an omnipresent Spirit that dwells in the light that no person can approach unto, and no person has ever seen Jesus, and no person will ever see Jesus, for He is an invisible Spirit, but He showed the Jews a visible manifestation of Himself, and will be the visible relationship to the saints forever, for that is the only way they can see God.
