I want to introduce myself, I go by the screen name of ScruffyRaccoon. I hadn't shaved for a couple of days, and my daughter told me that I look like a scruffy raccoon. That's how I got my screen name.
I'm a christian and have been saved since I was 11. I am 45 years old and grew up in a military home. I have seen lots of diversity and have experienced a lot of faiths/beliefs. I'm not saying that I'm perfect in any way or that I always walked the straight path with God. I have had challenges throughout my life, but have known that God needs to be my focus. In my family, in myself, and people that I interact with. I was married for 20 years, and I realized that I had lots my placement of head of household. I went through a divorce, which has depleted my communications with my four children. I pray for them constantly, that they can stay strong and be productive members of society. I have remarried, and we are coming onto my second year of marriage. She is a Christian as well, but doesn't attend church or wants to be surrounded any church gatherings. Her focus is material things and thinking about her past before being saved, it causes issues between us often.
I'm glad that I joined CC, and hope that my experiences and walk with our Lord and savior can help someone.
