I was a born again Christian 20 years ago, I got water baptised and felt the power of the Holy Spirit but I abandoned the church when I suffered trauma and doubted God. I suffer from agrophobia, panic attacks and anxiety and use alcohol as a prop. I know God is my only hope and I am seeking to regain my faith and I am looking for inspiration, support and help with my journey back to Christ.

Hi I need some advice too I ordered a pentacle necklace with angel wings on it I got it in the post today I don't know if I should wear it now I mean it has associations with satanist and If I was going to wear it I would have to wear it outside my shirt it's just the way I am and I go to church sometimes I don't know what they would say I'm kinda new there anyway so don't want to be 'that guy'. But the thing is I like it and had a dream in which Jesus used a pentagram to exercise me so it has deep meaning and I believe it has power over demons.

So, the question is; should you wear a satanic emblem, even to church? I think it would kind of be like bringing whiskey to an AA meeting. Most people don’t realize what actually happened in the story of Samson. They believe that his great strength came from his long hair. He was a Nazarite, meaning a person set aside from birth to serve the Lord. His hair was a SYMBOL of who he belonged to. It is my belief that he didn’t expect when his hair was cut that it would lead to his demise. The story states that he expected to defeat the Philistines again but the Lord had left him. It was the Spirit of the Lord that gave him strength, not the hair. Severing the hair, was separating him from who he belonged to. From there his eyes were removed, he was beaten and mocked, and left for dead. Now tell me, do you think God takes symbols seriously? I would say, Yes He does.
