Hi I am new here. My name is Olivia and I work 3rd shift and most of my friends are sleeping while I am awake. I am bored and lonely and would like to have clean conversation with other people I like all kinds of music and for a hobby I make soap. I was married for 21 years and dated someone for 3 1/2 years. That relationship is no longer and I am looking for someone to talk to..simple

I am not a cat person, but I think to name a kitten Blossom is so cute I might reconsider.

I hope you will find friends here. As you might have noticed, people here have sometimes strange sleeping patterns, so you would always find someone awake here. As for me, I am sleeping my eight hours when it is night, but then I am in a different timezone.

I worked 3rd shift for awhile and I was constantly tired and drained. Very good conversation take place in the forums, especially the Singles one. There are many single members on this site who can tell their story on what went wrong in previous relationships. There are a lot of success stories as well. My orange tabby is named Tango. I have a white one too named Sugar. Cats are a very big topic on this site.

I get that you meant you work on the off hours compared to others setting up the lonely premise statement, but I was curious as to what it was you did that creates the 3rd shift? Is that the midnight shift? What do you do?

And then I began to smile from ear to ear as I continued reading...(some people just tickle my fancy - what can I say? I thought it was cute and interesting).... well i work 11p-7a at an emergency department. so i am up all night sleep during the day. I have been making soap for 9 years now ...cold process soaps. Its a good hobby.
