Hello. I go to a Christian school and am taught Young Earth Creationism, but after doing extensive research of my own, I've come to believe such teachings are full of fallacies, misunderstandings, and unbiblical lies. I think Young Earth Creationists, who are adamant, about their beliefs do not know all the facts about Evolution, opting to focus on important improper things like treating Darwin like he is to Evolution as Jesus is to the Bible, which is very, very untrue. Try to prove me wrong.

What are "all the facts about evolution"? Does such a teaching exist?

Try to prove you wrong? lol I'm sorry I mean no ill intent I just find it kind of funny for someone to come and in their first post throw down the gauntlet. I in a way am the same I believe both in science and Christianity I have the belief that there is a difference in how man understands science and how God does and perhaps with evolution it is the same way. Now of course the first instinctive thing for most Christians including myself is that evolution is a lie as the bible clearly speaks as to How God created Adam and Eve however I am one who likes to keep an open mind and search the truth for myself so i cannot simply dismiss the topic

When I say, "...do not know all the facts about evolution..." I mean their knowledge on the fundamentals of evolution are flawed. I don't know what you mean by if such a teaching exists.

I want to establish myself here with what I believe, which is why this is my first post.

You said people do not know all the facts about evolution, but how could anyone if no such teaching exists? Nobody knows all the facts about evolution.

hey I am for all that I just found it funny. Maybe you can make a thread explaining your beliefs, be warned of course that you will receive plenty of opposition but I myself would be willing to listen and maybe even do some research on the subject myself, like with science I think to many Christians disregard certain things

This is the Introductions forum, not the "this is what I believe" forum. Your OP belongs in the bible forum..

It's an expression, but I apologize for the confusion. I mean the fundamentals are not well known. I don't mean that "all" the facts are understood.

Really good point. Clearly you are a terrific Christian who wants to welcome and listen to people of other beliefs as Jesus did rather than dismissing their thoughts because you think they're "stupid".

For what confusion? Yours? I am not confused. You presented something that is not true (since it does not exist) and positioned yourself beside it as if you are right and others are wrong.

If you go to the main page (christianchat.com) you will see the listing of forums. The Bible Discussion Forum is near the top of the list, but you may actually want the conspiracy forum.

Alright, when you ask questions you are by literal definition confused. When I replied to your questions I was clearing up said confusion. That is why I said, "sorry for the confusion." Also, when you position yourself with a belief of course you believe in it. That's not rocket science and you are saying nothing new by saying that I believe in evolution by putting myself with that position. I want to have a good, biblical discussion with other Christians on Evolution.

You do realize that most Christians actually accept Evolution, right? I'm not saying that a well established piece of science that is supporting in all branches of science is wrong. You are.

No you didn't do no research son, stop lying. Evolution is pseudoscience and the easiest to disprove of them all.
Evolution relies heavily on beneficial mutations and natural selection(none of these happens by the way)-so, to disprove it, i'll take something that has no association with genes - The human language.

Human language is basically words with meanings and specific pronunciation that MUST be taught/learnt for anyone to speak. IOW, words and their meanings are externally acquired from knowledgeable sources through a process called learning. With this single fact, no matter how far back we go (billions of years if there's such a thing), we will never reach a point where words and their meanings were not taught or a point where meanings came from genetic mutations and subsequent natural selection- we can only go back to the single source of knowledge where man got to learn language and that's God.

But thank you for the advice. I'll move this discussion there and still answer any questions that may appear here.
