Hi all,

How are you? Hope you're blessed this weekend.

Recently registered to the site. Living in UK, listening to the rain here, it's no cold anymore though thank goodness.

Here for fellowship, as Jesus and His Spirit leads. A bit nervous, shy, wary and battle-worn but the Spirit quickens... And replenishes, thank goodness!!

Also, I'd be glad to pray for anyone who needs prayer because I've experienced, on many occasions, the effect of people praying in the Spirit of Life for me. Although I don't understand how prayers to Jesus and the Father fully works, but I trust that He is at work for good.
Actually doing a bit of a personal study on prayer... I learned, during a challenging season that there are different approaches to prayer, I didn't know this before... I'm particularly interested in intercessory Prayers.

Yes, it certainly is going to be a blessed weekend. There are all kinds of peeps from the UK here so you should feel right at home. Don't be nervous or shy, just relax and be yourself, that's what I do. Fellowship is what happens on this site. A lot of members pray for each other and encourage each other. Intercessory prayers would probably be a good thread to create in the Bible Discussion Forum but be forewarned that things can get a little heated there in debate and discussion but don't let this discourage you. Glad to have you join our community. Welcome to CC.

Thanks for the welcome Tourist :eek: it'd be great to connect in Christ with fellow Brits aswell as you guys across the pond. I nearly visited USA last year, South Carolina, but the flights were so much - just over a thousand pounds so I didn't go, but researched that area a little and it does sound lovely for walks and bike rides, and photography, so maybe one day.

Thanks also for the encouragement to relax, be who I am, and for the kind warning about BDF. I've encountered a lot of heated debate in other areas of the Internet, and it can be rough going with trying to continue with a good study or discussion through the heat, so I'll consider your suggestion, as I have a few notes here at home. It'd be good to grow more in Jesus. I'll try not to let nothing discourage. Thanks for that,much appreciated.

Hello Deror and welcome to Christian Chat. We are happy to have you with us. It interests me that you mentioned your desire to visit South Carolina. I live in North Carolina. The coasts of both states are beautiful.

You may like a place like Ocracoke Island and the village of Ocracoke. This is an ideal place to visit with a bicycle. Also up the coast (Outer Banks) is Hatteras Lighthouse which you must climb and witness the outdoor play on Manteo Island, "The Lost Colony". You would probably need to fly into Norfolk and rent a car to visit these places. Bring comfortable shoes. Google "Outer Banks" for more information. Have fun!
