Discussing religion is what the bible forum is for. This is the Introductions forum.

Well welcome and I hope you experience some meaningful conversations here that will work to draw you closer to Him and truth.

Also blue, I think that was an introduction, he just said hi and stated what he enjoyed. I don't think his comment could have been more of an introduction. Put the "wrong thread handcuffs" down, I think you can let this one off with a warning. ;)

I know but he made the comment that he likes to discuss religion and I knew sooner or later somebody would draw him into a conversation about it in here.. :) Hence why I said the bible forum would be more appropriate..

Part of an introduction is sharing things about yourself. Sometimes that leads to others commenting on it. According to your logic people can't actually introduce themselves and share anything because it might lead to a conversation. Which then negates the introduction forum.
If someone comes here specifically to start a topic then yes it makes sense to redirect them. If they share about themselves the "chance" that it "might" spark a discussion is not need to redirect them anywhere. It's a natural element of introducing yourself.

Do you mean you are a convert from Islam? Or you are still a practising Muslim?
He already answered that question, by saying "I am Muslim", proving he has no business on a Christian site. He should go to a muslim site to discuss his religion.

While it's true his beliefs were obviously stated, he, in fact, IS allowed on the site. As long as his behavior falls within the guidelines set for using the site he is otherwise welcome on the site. One need not be a Christian to use the site.

That's rather "prejudice" to say, after all this site allows for a variety of cultures and beliefs for discussion as well as "multiple forums" for such discussions like "Arab forum" or so on,so it's rather "ridiculous" to say he has "no business being here".

Rule 1. Nothing anti-Christian, or inappropriate for a Christian chat room or forum.

He has already broken the very first rule. What do you call "Islam", if you do not call it anti-Christian ?

That's about like asking if "atheists" are not allowed here to possibly be converted,a person's "initial religion" doesn't necessarily imply that they are here to "cause trouble" some may come here for "fellowship" or "interest in Christianity" which is no bad thing.

Yes it is, but so is catholicism and there's plenty of those on here as well. As long as non-Christians don't start to push their religion on us, they're fine to be here.

More "prejudice" and that isn't a "yes or no" answer some of Islam choose to convert to Christianity while still maintaining culture from that part of the world so to declare all Islam as "anti Christian" isn't accurate not to mention that everyone is their own "individual self" believing as they wish.
