So, my journey has been interesting. Long story short I am a believer. But not in the traditional sense. I believe that we were certainly brought to this earth by a higher intelligence. A "god" if you will. But that we have been deceived by the mainstream human race to believe that we are meant to worship the man made biblical god. My heart tells me this is false and detrimental to our highest conscience. We should not be misled by pressure and guilt to a false belief.

Many people who want to believe struggle with the personification of the biblical God, for years I struggled to pray to Jesus out of fear I might be praying to the wrong God or "person". God is certainly not limited to the stories of the bible. Can you talk more about your belief of God?

Hi, and welcome, Answers. Most of us here believe that God made man, not the other way around. We believe that the wisdom to find all answers is in the Bible. We believe that the heart is desperately wicked, and will deceive.

Your name confuses me. Shouldn't it be "questionsB4answers"?
What, exactly, do you believe in. Higher intelligence is kind of a meaningless term.
You believe the Bible was written by men and that your "heart" tells you this is true.

Okay. I admit it. I am completely lost. Have you read the Bible because that would be a necessary first step before you decide it is man-made.

Majority of us here are believers in God, of the Bible. If you’re looking to form some argument because of this, then good luck finding that but if you’re curious about why we believe, then a good place to start is the Testimony thread.
