Hello everyone!
My name is Jennifer. I am brand new to CC and am excited to be here! I literally "googled" Christian Chat and this site was #1 on the search results. I am looking for an online Christian community with which I can find camaraderie and fellowship with like-minded people. I was thrilled to find this site! I think it's truly great that we Christians can have such a strong family online where we can build each other up in Christ.
I had left the church for a few years after moving to the USA from Canada and I honestly struggled to find a church that I was comfortable with. I was looking for something very similar to what I left, and I eventually had to tell myself that I was not going to be able to find the "exact" church that I grew up in. I have since been going to a large church here in Cleveland that I feel is the closest in teaching the Bible and its theology the way it should be. It's nice to be comfortable with a church again! I will be joining some classes there as well and hoping to make some friends.
I reside in Cleveland with my husband, cat, and our dog. We both work full time and do not have children yet. We both love the Cleveland area and our new church.
