wilderness wanderer

Hi everyone. This is maybe my 16th post, so I thought I should intro myself finally.

I live in NY state, and have been in Christ for 30 years now. There have been ups and downs, but I think the Lord finally has me where He wants me. : )

I've been undergoing wilderness discipline for a while, with the old flesh dropping off and a new consecration being birthed. My operative scripture for some time has been Hos 2.14:

Behold, I will allure her, I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her - Ho. 2.14

God's power is perfected in weakness, and I can attest that that is how it really works.

I've enjoyed reading and contributing here for about a week, so I wanted to say hi, thanks, and be blessed.

Thank you, Rez and Perk. I appreciate the warm welcome. There's a nice camaraderie here. Yes, I have had ups and downs, and would like nothing more than to be able to help people avoid unnecessary pitfalls and to find freedom. My desire is to see the church united in love and mutual edification, according to Jesus' prayer in Jn 17. When we are organically one, our witness is magnified and the word will see an accurate representation of Jesus! : )

Hi LadyGeithrie. Thanks for the welcome, and a warm welcome back to you. I'm only about 20 minutes from CT, and do shopping there pretty often or go moto riding there. South Africa sounds exotic.

Sometimes I wonder where the 30 years went. They really flew past. That makes me determined to live the rest of my time sold out for Jesus.
