Looking for support and prayer

Hi Everyone,

I am recently divorced after 26 years of marriage. I have 5 children. Two years ago my husband just decided he was tired of being married so he stopped paying our mortgage and bills and began the breakdown of our family. It has been a nightmare...and continues to be!!! I don't understand it...I know God is in control, I trust Him. I'm sure someone out there knows what this feels like, it is something that I NEVER expected!! I gave up everything about myself for my family! And, when I now feel exhausted and worn out, I am having to start over. I was tricked by my ex into taking on most of the unpaid bills. I am sooooo overwhelmed and depressed, daily. He makes 6 figures/yr and is getting remarried next month. His whole family has turned their back on me and supports him fully. I don't have ANY family. And, now my children want to go live with him because he has it all...and mommy is poor and has nothing. Seriously, after bills are paid each week, I have $20.00 left for food n gas!!! How do people do this and sleep at night?

God is with you, we all go through hard times but things will get better for you. Just keep praying and have faith. Also try talking to your ex-husband in a nice and understanding way and maybe he can help out more with the bills.

How do people do this and sleep at night??? Here is my response:

Once there was a frog that was swimming and enjoying himself doing what frogs do when a scorpion walked up to the edge of the water.
The scorpion realizing he couldn't swim and wanting to get to the other side called out to the frog, "Give me a ride"
Now the frog trying to be a nice guy, and because he liked the idea of helping someone.
Replied to the scorpion, "why would I give you a ride?? You will just sting me and I would die."
The scorpion using logic said, "if you give me a ride and I sting you ... you would die and I would drown. Why would I do that we both would die?"
Convinced, the frog allowed the scorpion to climb up on his back and proceeded to swim through the water...
Halfway across the water the scorpion stung the frog.
The frog immediately started dying, as he was sinking he called out to the scorpion who was drowning.
WHY? WHY? would you sting me? Now you are going to die too!
The scorpion replied, I couldn't help myself... It is my nature to sting.
You asked, How do people do this and sleep at night?? The answer is right in front of you. IT IS THEIR NATURE TO "STING".

You are a woman of God. Look to him. Give your children to the Father. Be involved with fellow believers. Don't dwell on the past. Embrace the future God has for you. I could write a lot more. Not because I'm telling you what to do but because I've told myself these same types of things and continue to tell myself these things. God tells us, "I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11 BELIEVE GOD BECAUSE IT IS HIS NATURE TO BE GOOD!
