My name is Deb and I have been off and on as a Christian all my life. Several years ago, I turned to Pagan and realize now that was a big mistake. I have felt the calling of God to come back to him. I am now hearing that a sprinkling of water for baptism is not a true baptism. That you need to be immersed and will receive the Holy Spirit. This all has me confused. Also, that when you accept Christ as your Savior, you should be baptized at the same time. I feel so lost right now and want to make my life right. My son just got baptized, by immersion last week and accepted Christ. This is wonderful. But has opened my eyes as well. I am searching for answers right now and can't talk to my spouse as he is Pagan and is totally against Christianity. Any thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

I hope the Lord enlightens you to the way He has planned for your life...I was also troubled with being sprinkled as an infant...and thought it necessary to be truly baptized by immersion when I turned to the Lord several years ago...

So I would ask you to pray about it, and if you have given the Lord your full heart now, I know I had to be baptized...its just what I felt as sin and darkness plagued my life and sight...

Do whatever the Lord shows you and compells you to do...and vow to follow Him.

God bless

Welcome and greetings Deb. It would be hard for me to imagine being married to someone who does not believe similar to myself. Your are coming to know the Truth. Your heart needed that true light source.
Infant baptism is not Biblical. When I was saved, it was when I was 16 years old. But I was not baptized.
Read your Bible because it will only help clear up little by little the confusion you are having. God's Word has the answers. That is sad you think you are unable to talk with your husband about the only way, truth and life. I know of a good book that would maybe help. It is called The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian. You may like it and find it useful to you in your marriage.
