I made an account on here a while back, left to go to the Army for Basic Training, and ironically I found God again when I was there. I was lost for a long time, but I had a wonderful Chaplain who helped me find faith again. However, due to alot of stuff going on in my life with my mother and having to move cause we almost lost our home, I was very depressed before leaving to the Army, and while in Basic Training. I was medically discharged due to it. But I am very glad I went because it helped me find God again. And I want to continue to grow and learn more about Jesus. Especially because of all thats going on in my life at the moment, I need Jesus, cause I feel so alone. and I especially want to help my mom find Jesus because she needs him too. So I need help finding more about Jesus to help her find him. <3

Hi Firefighter girl, I'm so glad you came back and your relationship with God is back on track, I will pray you and your mom can keep growing in the faith, we all had different experiences that made us realize how much we got distant from God but his compassionate hand is always there to lift us up, welcome and God bless, you have a friend in me :)

Hi and welcome, Fire
Remember, the best way to lead someone to Jesus is by example. Let them see Him in you. Pray for them. And don't be pushy, or overbearing. Its one thing to talk to them about it sometimes, but its another if you always have to make a comment, or get into some big discussion about it. That doesn't win people, that makes you annoying and fanatical in their eyes. Just keep loving her and letting her see Jesus in you.
Also great to see you have such a good attitude, even in light of being discharged.
