What i have learn over the years in my walk with Christ, is that having faith is not something of the mind, or a good feeling, or a gut feeling that something will or will not happen, but it is Believing in the God of gods, and King of kings ability to do what He said He will do, which are all the blessings stated is Deuteronomy 28 (Blessings of obedience)..... ;)

Right now God just open a way for me to be free from a relationship which i thought was meant to be "because of gut feeling", but I should have asked my Heavenly Father what He thinks, FIRST... His word is true and never changes "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, in ALL your WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, and he WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH" The day after i seriously talked to God about my relationship with a guy that is a christian, a lot began to unfold, that i didnt see was there, and now i have peace in my heart because i was obedient to God and left.

I am believing in my spirit, even when believing is hard to believe, but I KNOW the God that I serve never LIE....

I want to encourage all of you new and mature Christians, the BEST choice you have made in your life is to CHOOSE CHRIST and HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM!

NEVER LET GO GOD BECAUSE HE WILL NEVER LET YOU GO EVEN WHEN BELIEVING IS HARD TO BELIEVE.

Hi, Monique, welcome to cc! I love what you said about asking God what HE thinks, instead of just going with a "gut feeling". The still, small voice has never led me astray, even when it went against my "gut feelings" :). May we all learn to trust Jesus, instead of our feelings! Thanks you guys... its really a breath taking experience when one gets to KNOW God and not only to just know about Him!

I like this post. I connect with it so much. God's words in Proverbs 3:5-6 definitely applies in my life right now. I just went through a breakup too, and learning to trust God and his will is what is getting me through everyday.
