Linda from Michigan here. I am an active, 47 year old woman who loves to go, go, go but also realizes the importance of balance in ones life. Most importantly I let God do the steering... I am very 'in-tune' when it comes to hearing the Lord but hearing and listening are two very different things. I do try. I love to kayak, both whitewater and flatwater, ride my bicycle -- 76 miles has been my longest ride so far but I want to do a century, riding my motorcycle -- I love the mountains and riding curves -- 2010 Dragon's Tail - awesome! I love to golf - I'm not good enough to keep score but one of the most beautiful views I've experienced has been on a golf course --- The Jewel, Mackinaw Island. I also love my children, all grown and enjoying them more and more as adults, reading, being creative, puzzles and scrabble. God has blessed me with a strong spirit for adventure. I have several sayings I live by: JUNK IN, JUNK OUT, If You REST, You RUST, If life gives you lemons, make lemonade... but for goodness sake, quit standing in the lemon line!!! I work full-time, have an 11 pound dog who is a great friend to me, have a parakeet who says: Holy Crackers, Do More Whitewater, Look At The Pretty, Pretty Bird, and can whistle charge and the sexy whistle all together... it works for him!! lol I firmly believe God has great plans for all of us... peace.
