This question can be hard or easy for people. For me I believe everyone is a Christian to start off with as I believe God created the earth and us. However you are called a non-believer or Athiest if you don't . Some don't believe at first then they do later in life and some start believing and then circumstances make them stop believing. Being a Christian is very confusing when everyone has a different opinion about it and only yourself know how you feel. Do you believe in the 10 commandments? If you relate that to real life they are sins .But if you believe that God and Jesus will help save you and you ask them for guidance , you are already a believer , because non-believers generally don't think about prayers . Hope this helps and this is based on my personal thoughts. God Bless.
If you could even just name the first five commandments without looking it up, I'd be very impressed .

Some people find it "unspiritual" to memorize scriptures.

Not by power, nor the sword but by his spirit.

It's not by knowledge (power) in this case, look for his spirit Dogma. God Bless

How are you supposed to believe in something if you don not know what it is/ fully understand it? If he is saying that one of his reasons for being a Christian is believing the 10 commandments yet can't even name 5 of them off the top of his head, something is obviously wrong.

Dogma: you can in theory know the bible letter by letter and not be saved,
The Pharisees knew the scriptures without knowing God....

It's by his spirit. He doesn't have to fully understand, he couldn't even if he tried because God is limitless. God himself will guide him through it. Your being very short-sighted about it and I suppose I understand because that's all you have atm, just yourself and your limited senses. I'd think just like you if I didn't have God either, believing in what I see. Pretty much all I can say on that, read the first sentence again to get a summary of what I'm saying. You can't figure it out by youself, you need God. See ya around.

Well..... it's really up to u, not us..... Being Christian isn't something u just can choose... u have to want to be Christian....
If u ask the world.. tehy won't really care or they might say no
If u ask Christians they would say Yes!

It's up to u what u want to do with ur life.... if u choose the right road then u'll go to heaven if u choose the wrong one... then hell and eternal suffering would be waiting for you...
